Professional Development Goals

Evidence of Accomplished Goals

  • I feel fairly comfortable using general technology such as email, texting, using computers, power point, Microsoft word.

  • I can use technology efficiently to communicate with others appropriately.

  • I am able to teach my students how to use power point, google slides, Prezi, to present their knowledge.

  • I need to have a better understanding of online safety and how to teach it to my students.

  • I need to have a better understanding if different resources and technology that's available to me.

  • I need to learn more about creating and editing websites and everything that is involved such as embedding, and using links...

  •  I feel fairly comfortable with a select amount of resources and tools but i still think there is a lot out there that we even have access to this semester that I would like to learn about and familiarize myself with.

  • I will need to stay up to date on technology options and resources that are available, they can change daily so in a few years there may be a Plethora of new and exciting technology options!

  • I didn't learn as much as I would like to about blogging, the etiquette, and the different options available.

  • Learn how to create a website and edit it beneficently with knowledge of embedding resources, adding links, and navigating the website for the benefit of myself and future students.

  • Learn all about online safety and how to manage that in my classroom I want to be able to have clear guidelines and a "policy" about how I will handle that in my classroom.

  • I want to learn about the different technology resources out that are meant for assistive technology. I want to be knowledgeable about what is available to me and be able to use them for specific kids.

  • I feel very confident with being able to facilitate and best enhance student learning using technology tools

  • I understand and feel comfortable teaching my kids about digital citizenship and online safety.

  • I feel very confident with general technology such as Microsoft office, google docs, web browser, and using other technology tools in the classroom.

  • I learned how to create a website and edit it over this entire semester and this allowed me practice to master this goal! Through creating our teacher website, this e portfolio, and the Service Learning Project I ave been able to embed resources, add links, and navigate the website while editing.

  • I've Learned all about online safety through the different class preps that I completed as well as through the "classroom rules regarding technology" piktochart I made and the emaze video I created about online safety and how to approach it and be cautious. This allowed me to have clear classroom rules as well as knowing how to handle the situation more clearly now.

  • Throughout this semester I have been able to learn about several different assistive technology tools that I can use for my students in the future. these include the ipad apps that can put a colored filter over their paper, as well as apps that can read aloud their text on their paper or on a device. Alternative keyboards and online organizers are available as well. I have also learned ab out different sites and places to find these resources and stay up to date such as the different twitter hashtags like #Spedchat.
