This tool was created by wevideo which is an awesome and easy way for kids to create videos! The actual instruction itself was focused on our emotions. The video is supposed to be targeted for kids that may not always recognize social cues such as emotions; especially in an elementary setting. This touches on describing what emotions are, when we might feel them, and what they look like on other people.

This video can be helpful and resourceful for students who may struggle socially. This video can serve as a reference point if they find themselves in a situation where they didn't recognize somebody's emotion or if they have been feeling strong emotions but cant recognize what it is. This video also helps give ideas about how to react to people when they're experiencing these emotions. This video is engaging and can help them to think about what emotions they experience or specific situations they've experienced certain emotions. This video is also enhancing their knowledge regarding emotions.

This tool is called Piktochart and it gives you the ability to make incredible info graphics. There are many templates, images, and symbols to choose from to create your info graphic for whatever your need. This particular one is focused on classroom management and digital management in the classroom. This tool is a great way to engage the kids aesthetically. It has a very simple layout that is straight to the point when it comes to the rules of the classroom. They will learn my expectations for our classroom with this info graphic. This tool can also be used for other subjects. My students will be able to use this tool for almost any subject. Another great use for this resource is to organize information for a presentation.

This is one website (wix) that will be a collection of resources for a teacher to use. This website is split into 5 different pages. The home page will be a general overview of the website and where to find things. The overview page includes a screen cast and a description of the purpose. The following page is fully dedicated to one awesome resource called Khan Academy. Descriptions of this resource and the different tools can be found there as well. Th Geogebra page again is fully dedicated to the resource Geogebra. This is also a bigger website with a large amount of resources and materials available. The last page is an other resources page which then lists some smaller but still very helpful resources.

Since Kara is a resource teacher, I thought it would be best to have more of a resource artifact. I found it may be more beneficial to her to instead of picking a standard I could create something for her that includes all standards. This website now creates a place that is organized into the different resources that have great information for Algebra 1. This allows Kara, and her students to have access to websites and other learning technology resource tools that they may otherwise wouldn't have known about. Within the pages there will be links to these resources as well as a description of the tool and how it is helpful for the student.  Now these students have the ability to get help in any unit that they need.

This PBL was created to challenge students to question what art is, and what it means to them. This question was designed to get students to think about art in a more personal way. It is an activity that can allow students to express and then reflect on their personal view of the value of art. In an indirect way it can expose them to art therapy and how art can be therapeutic. This includes an introduction by artists with disabilities, whether they happened to be autistic, had physical disabilities, or specific learning disabilities. Seeing these pieces can offer excitement and inspiration for the kids as they start to experiment with art. And in turn they will create an art piece and write a reflection about them. They will then be set up in the classroom as an art gallery and this is where the kids are able to stand by their art and express their thinking about what it is and work on social skills.

This PBL is a very engaging and enhancing experience for the kids. They are being very self reflective and have deep thinking about how art benefits them and what it means to them. This can also include collaboration with other students; enhancing their perspective. Since they are then asked to create their own art piece this is now a very engaging experience. They are learning and experimenting hands on and are able to reflect instantly on this experience.

This tool is called kidspiration it can be used to create different types of concept maps. This can be done by the kids for certain topics or concepts or I can create them myself. Students can start with a blank screen and add information that can help them with their learning. This can be beneficial for kids who are brainstorming a project or writing a paper it allows them to organize their information and make connections. This also allows kids to be able to brainstorm and add pictures in as well.

Hour of Code

The Hour of code was a programming activity that we completed. There were many options to choose from but i ended up participating and creating a flappy bird game. This activity gave me a lot of insight and new knowledge to coding and creating games. This tool is very enhancing to myself as well as students.
